In spring, when the human body especially feels a lack of vitamins and minerals, dishes made with seasonal greens become true superfoods. This incredibly aromatic, slightly spicy yet low-calorie salad with sorrel and celery is perfect for those who enjoy bold, tangy flavors. The dressing with cumin seeds adds a particularly rich and vibrant taste.
Black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa) contain a unique compound — thymoquinone — a highly active phytochemical known for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune-boosting properties. They are also rich in vitamins A and E, B vitamins (B1, B6), and essential minerals such as zinc, iron, sodium, selenium, potassium, and manganese.
Consuming fresh cumin seeds helps improve overall body tone, reduces inflammation, and supports healthy digestion by preventing harmful processes in the intestines.
CraftOil offers premium-quality organic black cumin seeds grown in environmentally clean regions, free from preservatives and carefully quality-controlled.
These seeds are perfect for salads, side dishes, meat and fish recipes, as well as for sprouting into spicy microgreens or pressing into aromatic raw oil.
