Celery is not only a superfood but also one of the best natural allies for anyone following a diet and trying to lose weight. A 100-gram serving of celery root contains only 13–16 calories and a whole range of essential nutrients. It is rich in vitamins A, C, K, and E, B-group vitamins, as well as potassium, magnesium, and dietary fiber that supports healthy digestion and helps normalize bowel function.
A radish and celery salad is an excellent detox recipe to help cleanse the body and support healthy weight management without harming your health. Adding sesame seeds enhances the flavor and significantly boosts the nutritional value of the dish. Sesame seeds are rich in calcium and potassium, essential for strong bones, cartilage, and tooth enamel. They also contain omega fatty acids that help regulate lipid metabolism and support overall metabolic processes.

Notes & Nutrition benefits:
You can also add fresh parsley or celery leaves for extra flavor and aroma. This low-calorie salad contains only 35 calories per 100 grams, making it perfect for a fat-burning meal plan or detox diet. It can be eaten daily as a main meal or as a healthy side dish for lunch or dinner.
Instead of sesame seeds, you can use hulled pumpkin seeds or a handful of cashews. The kefir or yogurt dressing can also be replaced with healthy vegetable oils such as sesame oil, flaxseed oil, camelina oil, pumpkin seed oil, or poppy seed oil.
