Cheese soup is a real find for those who are used to eating hearty and delicious meals. It is rich in easily digestible protein and amino acids that are essential for maintaining healthy muscles and bones. In addition, this dish is quick and easy to prepare and does not require any special cooking skills.
If you cook cheese soup with sesame oil, it will not only become incredibly aromatic but also more beneficial for your health. Raw sesame seed oil contains unique compounds called sesamol and sesamin — antioxidants that not only protect the body from the harmful effects of free radicals but also help slow down the aging process. It also contains fatty acids (mainly omega-6 and omega-9), which are involved in lipid metabolism and help regulate the skin’s moisture balance.
The CraftOil company offers craft, raw, 100% natural oil made from black and white sesame seeds. It is cold-pressed on our own branded press on the day the order is placed, bottled in glass containers, vacuum-sealed (to prevent oxidation), hermetically closed, and immediately shipped to all corners of Ukraine and the world.
Our sesame oil is perfect for making cheese soup, salad dressings, and other culinary purposes. To learn more about its benefits and how to use it, contact our consultants in any convenient way.
Ingredients
To make a hearty cheese soup, you will need:
- 600 g chicken hearts;
- 1 processed cheese portion;
- 300 g potatoes;
- 1 carrot;
- 1 onion;
- 2 tablespoons vermicelli noodles;
- 1 bay leaf;
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil;
- 1.5 liters of water;
- 2 teaspoons salt;
- 1 pinch of ground black pepper;
- 1 bunch of dill and/or parsley (approximately 10–12 stems);
Step-by-step cooking instructions
First, prepare the ingredients. Wash the chicken hearts thoroughly under running water, then cut each one in half lengthwise. Peel, wash, and dice the potatoes (not too large). Peel the onion and carrot, rinse them, and finely chop. Fry the vegetables in sesame oil until they become golden and develop a pleasant aroma (about 15 minutes over medium heat).
Wash the dill or parsley and finely chop it.
Pour water into a pot or another suitable container, add salt, bay leaf, and the previously washed and cut chicken hearts. Bring to a boil and cook. After 20 minutes from boiling, add the potatoes. After another 15 minutes, add the vermicelli noodles. Cook the soup for 10–12 minutes, then add the onion-and-carrot sauté, ground black pepper, herbs, and processed cheese (grated or cut into thin slices).
Let the soup simmer for another 5–10 minutes, then serve. If desired, add sour cream or mayonnaise to each portion.
Notes:
If you add a little ground turmeric to the soup, it will acquire an appetizing golden color. Turmeric, as well as black pepper, Svan salt, Adyghe salt, and other spices can be found in just a few clicks in the CraftOil online store.
