Which Hydraulic Oil Should You Use?

1. Hydraulic oil type

Depending on the manufacturer’s requirements and the operating temperature, suitable options may include industrial hydraulic oils in the ISO VG 32 or ISO VG 46 viscosity grades, such as compatible HLP 32 or HLP 46 products.

Other locally available oils, including I-20A or MGE-46V, should only be used if their specifications meet the requirements stated in the equipment documentation.

Always check the DYB-63H operating manual or nameplate before filling the reservoir. Do not assume that oils with similar commercial names are interchangeable.

2. Oil quantity

The reservoir has a nominal capacity of 7 litres. This does not necessarily mean that the entire volume should be filled under every operating condition.
