Rinse the bell pepper, remove seeds and stem, and chop into medium-sized pieces. Peel and mince the garlic (using a press or finely chopping with a knife). Wash the cilantro, pat dry with a towel, and chop finely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, carrot, and bell pepper. Saut\u00e9 for about 20 minutes until the onion turns golden and aromatic. Add canned beans, ketchup (or adjika), khmeli-suneli, Svan salt, and chopped cilantro. Mix well. Simmer on low heat for 15\u201320 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The dish is ready to serve immediately after cooking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notes &amp; Variations:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In some regions of Georgia, fried ham is added to lobio for extra flavor. You can use boiled beans instead of canned ones.
